I really, REALLY hate the original. It feels very "2006" to me. Maybe I need to not mess with it, but I know I'm not gonna be happy till I make a change. I was shooting for a more retro look and feel with this new design... What is the consensus on the "est. 2008"? Leave it? Kill it?

OK - taking Gino's thoughts about negative space into account, I moved the "Circleville" up a bit and enlarged "Sign and Graphics". I also canted the image - which I think really spices it up a bit. Thoughts?

I'm with the majority - this is a very cool piece, and I would totally buy a print to hang in the shop.

You may also want to try Insiqnia Signs - they are a merchant member here who has done jobs for me in the past that are larger in size (15"x19") and have done a fantastic job.

1. Banners don't get laminated. You can spray them if you want, but it's unnecessary. 2. Yard signs aren't considered permenant signage. If you client expects to get more than 3-6 months of use out of them, then you need to educate your client better.

Here's the important question - WHY would you put out unlaminated prints when you know they are going to be outdoors?

i would say yes. My personal experience was similar. Purchased a Mutoh a little over 2 years ago from them. Explained before I signed the docs that we had to have the printer, in hand, set up, and all training done by a certain date. Answer was "No problem! We'll be good to go!". Well, day...

Not familiar with your printer, but assuming it is solvent/Eco-sol, you shouldn't be laminating. If it's not solvent or latex based, you shouldn't be selling outdoor banners anyways.
