I'd paint out the whole panel instead of trusting the stock color. I've seen too many panels that faded prematurely to trust the stock paint long term (including an entire gas station that turned from red to light pink). Paint the sucker with an automotive enamel and be done with it, letter it...
We've done about 100 of them in the last 10 years on the tile board from Home Depot. Do your lines and lettering in vinyl and send them on their way. We get $65 for 18"x48" without a logo.
Locally there's a shop for sale that has made it's owner a decent income for 20 years and shows every indication of continuing that. He's selling it for the depreciated value of the equipment and roughly one years salary.
Three years later and it's my understanding that he's only had three...
95% of sign shops are not BUSINESSES....they are JOBS for their owners. A business produces income for it's owners, with a JOB the owner produces the income. Nobody in their right mind buys a job.
The average sign shop is worth less than the depreciated cost of the equipment, the customer...
No Craig, it is pretty much a jet ski with a canopy.
Nobody's gonna be checking out the lake bottom and seeing the fishies swim. It pretty much shoves the cockpit underwater and you navigate by the camera on top. The only thing keeping this from killing a bunch of rednecks at the lake next...
So let me see if I understand this OP. I'm dealing with a guy who already paid for artwork, and who is completely happy with his artwork, and who has already been told it's bad art and doesn't believe that. Somehow I'm supposed to get that guy to pony up a couple of hundred bucks for new...

That's what I don't get. This is the third "image" he's used over the years and they've all been sick computers and he's using the wheels to show he's a mobile repair shop. He just didn't get that he's mobile, not the sick computer.
Long time customer, and a good guy, who has all the design sense of an artichoke, finally decided to break down and pay somebody to create a new image for his company. He wanted something he could brand his business around. He does on-site computer repair (think geek squad).
He's thrilled...
Did an entire fleet of vans with RapidTac and Nikkalite reflective vinyl. The RapidTac worked MUCH better than soapy water. Never had any trouble at all out of the reflective.
We did one but it was a really simple design of two interlocking letters. We used a 16' x 16' piece of banner material, projected the design, then cut 1/2" holes every 2-3" in it.
The school used it like a giant pounce pattern. They'd roll it out, spray through the holes with marking paint...
What you posted looks like it would work just fine, my thought though is what are you drilling that's going to require you to be that accurate? If you need to be that accurate you might as well invest in a cheap drill press.
We bought a $59 Harbor Freight drill press about 10 years ago. We've...
