A good washing normally rids it of 90%. but not the yellowing of age but if yellowing it's brittle maybe 20 yrs old .. replace is best. If they want to save the money and roll the dice, a good washing, a full print will camouflage enough you won't notice 50 ft away much less 10 ft.

I have 2 double sided ladders 2 step and 4 step I place plank between when needed, hope to get more double sided ladders they work awesome. This looks good but to me if I only need one ladder, I'm carrying bulk, for planking then it is a distance more then 6ft to about 10 ft is a 2x8 or 2x10...
