  1. Golf school logo

Maybe it's Golf lessons and tattoos? I think it might need some green in it.
  2. Always back up

I'm backing up my backup as I type. I just installed a Seagate 500g portable hard drive. It's doing its automatic thing now. I have a problem with XP wanting to check my extra hard drive (drive E) at startup. It starts to check the drive and then goes into an endless refreshing of a long...

I wanted to see your comments and their reaction.
  4. Butt Hurt Report - in case, like me, you hurt somebody's feelers

How about a link so we can admire this logo you mentioned?
  5. Sudden, continual, unanswered Coroplast Quality Issues

I bet on a hot day it isn't. Stuff moves like crazy!
  6. Sign for Signs

Damn Wayne... how much of that is software and how much is talent? I guess what I'm driving at is, should I start saving up?
  7. Sudden, continual, unanswered Coroplast Quality Issues

Good Grief! How hard could it be to set up a machine to cut coro off square? About as easy as setting it to cut crooked would be my guess.
  8. So is this as good as it gets?

    Static? Hey... maybe it's outgassing.
  9. What am I doing wrong with Coreldraw X5? Please help!

My copy of Flexi reads both .cdr and .cdx files.
  10. What am I doing wrong with Coreldraw X5? Please help!

I recall some time back of a poster who could not cut a particular file. The file turned out to be corrupt. Have you tried a simple file? Like maybe a single red circle? You may have an issue with gradients or drop shadows or some such. Or you may have a corrupt file. Did you try what I...
  11. were you creative as a kid???

I'm really just jealous. What other profession do you get 50 Gs a year for throwing dodge balls at high school dweebs? Then there's the 2 month holiday every summer. You get off work at 3pm. If it snows... you got it... no school. Shudda been a gym teacher.
  12. were you creative as a kid???

Yeah... we get that up here too.
  13. What am I doing wrong with Coreldraw X5? Please help!

    I think he's gone...
  14. So is this as good as it gets?

That's how it's supposed to work. The vinyl is designed to "tear" along the score line. If you are cutting the backing paper, you are using too high a cutting force. You want the cut to be just a micron or two shy of cutting all the way through the vinyl. Either way, it should not affect the...
  15. So is this as good as it gets?

Looks like you're on your own mate. Google "trouble shooting". You may be able to find some advice on how to systematically resolve an issue. Follow the steps.
  16. were you creative as a kid???

Marlene... surely you've heard, "Those that can... do. Those that can't... teach." And don't forget, "Those that can't teach... teach gym."
  17. So is this as good as it gets?

Never mind what Roland did. Set it to where at least 10 of us have suggested, just for giggles. Take a new 45 degree blade out the package and install it. If you drop it, get another one... Set all driver settings to the proper value. Offset, steps per inch etc. (never mind what Roland did)...
  18. im in troubel

Are you saying you redid the print and it's OK so far?
  19. So is this as good as it gets?

Something here sounds fishy to me. You buy a new plotter and have trouble with it so Roland offers you a refub as a replacement?! Did you ever look for a setting for steps per inch? I notice people trying to help you but you don't respond to their suggestions(like the one I made) If I set my...
