  1. while Out On A Job

...a little Rapid Prep and a couple of rolls of paper towels will take care of that.
  2. So what do you think Flexi and the other software makers are going to do with this...

Simple....if you want a dongle for FlexiSign 4 it's going to cost you $2100. It meets the requirements of still being available for replacement so you're still SOL. The law says availability....not affordability.
  3. Day Night City Scape HOW DO I DO IT?

We've done smaller ones, never anything on that scale but the concept is the same (although Techman seems to know something I admittedly don't) We had standard banner material printed with the daytime scene. When it came in we stretched it between two poles facing the sun so we could see the...
  4. Latest Wrap install

    raps & i-shirts.
  5. Pay Your Bills.

I've got a bar owner friend who has always said that the easiest way to run off trouble customers that he doesn't really want back is to let them walk out on a small bar tab.
  6. HELP Need Part for a Kingcut

I agree. If you can't find the part and don't have the tools/skills to make it any machine shop should be able to knock that sucker out in less than an hour.
  7. .020 styrene

Didn't know Mike did stuff like that...would defiantly have recommended Merritt

  9. Can this polycarb face be saved?

Cool! When people ask him who did his sign (thinking to themselves it looks like shit) he's gonna proudly tell them you did it. When a chunk of it breaks off this winter they're gonna remember you did it. When the whole thing falls apart and he's got to get it replaced he's gonna call another...
  10. Pay Your Bills.

I may or may not know about a restaurant owner in a local mall who refused to pay his $600 bill for the replacement faces in his backlit sign cabinets. Seems he may have told the sign guy that he'd already ordered new faces from another sign company and as soon as they were ready the first sign...
  11. .020 styrene

How to cut it after you apply the tape is a whole different matter. Personally I'd check with www.georgiaprintco.com and see if they can do the job in their specialty division. They've done wonders with every off the wall project I've ever sent them.
  12. Flexisign Pro

Hey look! I can quote my own solution and probably get ignored again!
  13. Pay Your Bills.

So what you're saying is that you can hijack their site anytime they don't meet your demands and you can keep them from letting anyone else do their work?
  14. You can't fix stupid

The video is here... http://www.myfoxhouston.com/dpps/news/national/yellowstone-bison-attack-caught-on-camera-072310_8790257 I think the buffalo actually hit itself with the chunk of wood. The woman admits they were told to stay 100 feet away and were only 30 feet from it, and fat guy in the...
  15. Flexisign Pro

If you're only trying to cut stripes you can do it. You have to draw a line with the pen tool, select it, go to VIEW, PATH DIRECTION, SHOW PATH DIRECTION. That will give you a little arrow to show the direction it will cut. Make the line the length you're trying to cut, stack several of them...
  16. layout for new auto shop

The top left is okay but I'd change the letterstyle you used for AUTOMOTIVE. Those little slashes are killing me.
  17. Aussie Beer

Nope....just fell in love for a week with a Norwegian/Swedish girl (good lord) in Copenhagen on vacation one year. When I found out the Carlsberg Brewery had a free tour with free sandwiches and beer at the end of it I toured the place almost every day. I haven't had a Tuborg in years, I miss...
  18. Aussie Beer

Well....when I was in Denmark I shipped 4 cases of Carlsberg back through the mail service with no trouble. I later had my friend there ship me a couple of cases of Tuborg, again with no trouble. The problems develop when you actually let them know what's in the boxes. You might want to check...
  19. Lowen... Your new local competitor.

If you're charging $500 for the labor to wrap a van and Lowen pays you $500 why should you care that they're making a profit off of finding the jobs? Not on your case about anything, don't get me wrong, I'm just not understanding.
