  1. Trailer motorcycle wrap

Much bigger bike. You don't have to show 100% of the tires, make that sucker HUGE. SUPER GRAPHICS. THINK MONSTER SUPER GRAPHICS. ...and lose the papyrus, I don't care if that's their logo....tell them it sucks.
  2. Durability of printed banners

We tell customers two years on outdoor banners. If you're using 1" banner hem tape and folding over 1.25" or so we usually place the grommet so that the hole hits the raw edge. If they're going to do like most customers, regardless of what you tell them to do, and hang it from just the corners...
  3. Bull

Here, Fred will sell it to you for $4.95 http://www.expressclipart.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=321&cPath=&osCsid=3f28c21c8efc9ec70ab2b1c3bfd3e96c
  4. What is the stupidest thing you did at the shop?

Doug, It's funny you mention that. Everyone I know who flies off the handle at $50 mistakes (including me) is as calm as they can be over $1000 mistakes.
  5. Extruded Frame Mount

What type of extruded frame? If you're supplying the frame have you checked with the manufacturer to see if they have mounting caps available?
  6. What is the stupidest thing you did at the shop?

Her name was Crystal. Other than that it would be my terrible "mineral spirits to the crotch" experience a couple of months ago.
  7. I just got this email . . .

You laugh....this is exactly where the design end of this business is going.
  8. ...because I know it will make your day!

Awesome. I read through the comments about the video and I'm a little shocked. Apparently the "deaf community" is outrages about the implants and have gone as far as trying to show parents are neglectful for getting them for their children.
  9. The "Other Side"............

What's scarier is that Dustin actually remembered a scene from one of the worst movies ever made.
  10. How to chisel this?

One of the MR Chisel fonts is very close to that.
  11. Books on Design

See! He's got so many suggestions you've got to narrow it down.
  12. Books on Design

If you're looking for pure eye-candy for inspiration look at any of THE BEST OF BROCHURE DESIGN books. You can usually pick them up on Amazon for about $10. If you want a little more of a strategic approach try this one Brochures: Making a Strong Impression: 85 Strategies for Message-Driven...
  13. Post & Panel Sign Kit

Hard to tell exactly what you're looking for based on the tiny jpeg. Howard Industries makes very nice post and panel systems. http://www.howardindustries.com/categories/post-and-panel-signs
  14. Sign Painting Kit?

One of the sign kits I just got had been in storage for 12 years. The brushes in it were oiled with mineral oil. Even after 12 years they're incredibly soft and the hairs are in almost perfect condition.
  15. Vector Sign Blanks...

http://www.bettersigns.com/www/html/stockshapes.asp Lots of shaped blanks available, don't think they've got brackets and lights, though.
  16. 12x24 magnetics?

Basic vinyl with a five minute layout $70 pair but rarely get that anymore. Most other shops in town do full color magnetics for $55 these days. Most magnetic people seem to be going to the $17.99 (or even FREE) magnetics from Vista Print.
  17. Help my daughter win tattoo contest please!

Just ran across this old thread and couldn't help but laugh. It was okay for you to pander here in an effort to stack the vote but it wasn't okay for the Motley Crue tattoo guy to attempt to unstack the vote? :ROFLMAO: Glad it worked out for you anyway!
  18. Mascot Update... Again.

Post 26 looks like two awesome pieces that aren't working when stuck together. Either the head or the lettering with the spear by themselves are badassed, together it looks unbalanced.
  19. Sign Painting Kit?

Brushes and paint....duh. Okay, that's the obligatory smart assed answer. I have no clue, I'm just starting out learning hand lettering too.
  20. Your First Sign.

First paid "professional" sign was a set of magnetics for a local restaurant all cut on the Gerber 4B. Lettering was too big, too close to the edges, lines were too close together, and it had a double line border around it to make it fancy. I did do all the window splash work for the art...
