  2. New brand... new sign.

:ROFLMAO: Priceless John!! I LOVE IT Gino! I think that's along the lines of what Pat had in mind. I don't think that would project out too much at all. I'm gonna have to roll in this direction for sure. That is sweet.. :thankyou: Now... if only they had run electric to the sign...
  3. New brand... new sign.

Good catch Gino... There is only one space in there like the others, but it is definitely a visually wider gap. I will fix it! :thumb: And thanks for the advice on the exterior sign (Gino and Jon). My gut tells me to take it down and re-do the whole thing (it's damaged a little from a truck...
  4. Popcorn

Yep... it is my one HUGE weakness too! It's amazing that I lost over 100 pounds considering how much popcorn I eat! :Big Laugh My absolute favorite way is on the stove in a whirly pop® popcorn maker using organic popcorn, Coconut Oil and Himalayan Sea Salt. As healthy as popcorn is going to get...
  5. New brand... new sign.

I'm kind of stuck for ideas as to what to do with our outdoor sign. This was put up for us about 9 years ago and I have no clue who put it up. It was paid for and arranged by our old landlord as a part of our lease signing. Don't know if this is something I want to tackle myself or not...
  6. New brand... new sign.

We are officially switching to our new brand effective February 1st, 2013. We have till September 2013 to completely switch over, but I'm not wasting any time! I have our indoor sign completed, ready to hang. Cut Vinyl on 080 aluminum, 2 sided. I really love our new brand. It is a huge change...
  7. Where can I find................

We don't use a "program" or software... everything is cut by hand with a very sharp blade and a very steady hand. I mean, what will you do when a huge EMP hits earth... your "program" won't help you then will it? :ROFLMAO:

  9. Expanding print shop to include large format - need advice

Have you accounted for SOFTWARE in your budget? Do you know how to properly run all of the equipment you've listed? Networking all of your new equipment? Are your computers capable/compatible? Are you a one-man operation? A lot of questions need to be answered before simply jumping in...

  11. banner hemming with tape

Here's a video of me hemming a 4' x 14' banner using tape (there were 6 banners for this particular job). I'm taping along the edge and folding in, BUT... I have also used the Onyx Sign & Banner Plug-In for Illustrator on the print file. This plug-in automatically adds 1" bleed and prints a line...
  12. Need to purchase new cutter!! Help!

  13. What Brand of Tape...

Green painters tape for sure! Local hardware store. I've been using this for 5 years now... never an issue! Comes in various widths...
  14. What Brand of Tape...

For what specific use?? Masking vinyl... I am using 3M SCPM-3 medium tack. I also use a transparent mask product from R-Tape for masking. For general use (holding stuff down, taping rolls, etc...), I just use green painters tape. Works great!
  15. How cold is it where you live?

  16. Error when printing... HELP!

Thanks Tony! I am one of those who didn't know it existed! I've turned it off. Should solve any issues moving forward now. Appreciate the direction!
  17. Finding it hard to cut this decal

Unite works fine, and yes, you'll have to add bleeds, but... some of those lines go to a very fine point and will be tough to maintain I would think. Attached is a quick & dirty result of the unite command, then a cut outline applied.
  18. Error when printing... HELP!

Took both of your suggestions and applied them and error message gone! Which one fixed it? I'll never know  but I will say that BOTH were great suggestions. I thank you guys for the quick responses. I'll keep an eye on that Archive folder. It wasn't that full (under 10MB), but you...

  20. Error when printing... HELP!

Started about a week ago. When send a job from Omega to the Gerber or the EnVision, I get the following message: Gives me a choice of YES or NO. If I click "NO", it goes on and comes up with the same error message (one for the print job and one for each cut job sent). If I just click "NO" on...
