  1. How Do YOU Weed Text Inside a Border?

:thread Well sort of... A little off topic, but on the topic of weeding... I found a DENTAL PICK (the little sharp stainless two sided tool thing a dentist pokes inbetween your teeth with) in a local auto parts store (go figure) a couple of weeks ago. These things are very sharp and very...

Use a 60 degree blade and you should be fine.
  3. photo-tex

Unisource carries Phototex. ND Graphics & Proveer carry their own (equivalent) products too. I've tried the Proveer product and it is just as good in my opinion. Give them all a call and ask for sample rolls.

  5. How Do YOU Weed Text Inside a Border?

Also, with all due respect... I agree with this statement (and John Butto's)! Very quick to freehand once you get practice (and learn a little patience)! I also agree with Chicago... I used to have to cut weed lines (and I'll admit... I still do on certain fonts), but as you learn blade...

  15. HELP!! L25500 asking for ink cart resets... 10 times... and counting :)

Yep... what they both said! Has happened to me a couple times and it was a faulty cartridge. HP replaced them PROMPTLY and didn't even require the old ones to be returned. I still have a full "faulty" Cyan cartridge sitting on my shelf that I can't use. Too bad!! I'd call HP...
  16. New brand... new sign.

Yeah, I was thinking that also, as I'm not sure exactly how the existing framework is actually attached to the existing sign. I suspect it's one piece, or welded in place and will be a pain to switch out. I'm gonna have a company who does this stuff come in and have a look. I have a budget to...
  17. New brand... new sign.

I've been informed this morning that because our corporate office is removing the requirement for the tag line "Division of Kwik Kopy Printing" next year, I DON'T have to include it on my new outdoor sign!! :clapping::clapping: That is great news, as I don't want the words "Kwik Kopy" associated...
