Thanks Bob. The posts are 4 pieces of 1x4 pressure treated decking glued and screwed together with HDU caps.
The decking has rounded edges so I use a v groove bit in my router to add the groove on the sides it would be missing on.

I think the concept in the second photo of the first post is the best idea so far. Just don't use such ugly insulation, change the nasty blue text and don't cover quite so much of the vehicle with the insulation effect...

Here's another "great" tip.... if you cut off a 2 foot square from a 4 x 8 sheet of HDU, don't throw away the leftover sheet! Do like I do........ save it and use it for the next job! This has saved me a ton of money over the years.....
