The laser sounds like a lot of unnecessary work as well as painting primary copy with a mask. I just lay reversed/mirrored vinyl on back then paint background color.
Either way get a new piece of acrylic and start over.

They can't possibly be licensed by all the manucactures that they are using.
I think for a starter package the "Signfonts 33" package would be a good choice. That's roughly $5.15 per font, what a smokin hot deal for these quality fonts!
Love them Signfonts, me I gotta have em all. :thumb:
That's nuthin Chris, I recently had a customer's employee run into my shop truck with a forklift and they stated that if I wanted them to pay for the damage that they would definetly be looking for a new sign company. I said that's fine, now give me my fu**in check. :thumb:

I simply put down strips of masking tape to indicate the sides and leading edge of the vinyl placement and hit "base point" on the printer before print and after reloading the laminated prints. You can also use a pen/sharpie to put down alignment marks on the vinyl and masking tape, very easy...
You can put the ribbon in a spot color cartridge & assign that spot color in the artwork for your abbrasion guard then in flexi's RIP "Driver Options" select "Pause For Spot Color". Better yet do what I do and actually film laminate EVERYTHING that comes off the Colorcamm.
