Vinyl manufactures: Please stop gluing vinyl to the core. And if you do glue it, make sure it easily pulls off. I like burning a roll to the end, and too many times get caught off guard with a glued roll, needing just a couple more inches or like tonight, literally started printing my crop...

We have been on the hunt for an Rtape replacement as well. Have gone through a couple 54" rolls of the scps 55. Definitely good stuff and sticks the best I've seen to air release vinyl liners. Pricey and limited availability on sizes for some dumb reason. But works. Extra tacky coming off...

Damn dude. Did you try adding a second cutline? Skip the flex cut all together and just run the blade depth out further. Works much better than flex cut on any machine.

That's good to know. A little hesitant to treat this cutting mat like the others in our shop, since it's like 10x the cost to replace. Have you noticed any issues masking or laminating on a mat that's all cut up? I'd imagine it wouldn't make any difference for mounting to substrates.
