    Yup, you're gonna need profiles for nice printing unless you can figure it out yourself . Didnt your software come with an ICC PROFILES DISC ? It's hard to find profiles for the Jr. because it's old technology. If you cant find your disc, send me a PM and I'll help you out.

    serial cable 25 to 9 pin . com port 1- known good, as it ran other plotter fine. no, it never worked on this plotter. thought i had resolved bidrectional communications last night when i had poll size and ARMS contour cutting working. is there a setting i'm missing maybe?

    nope, just put it outside upside down for the afternoon. memory in the material is overpowering. i also had heated it thoroughly with heat gun and weighted it down while it cooled flat. took the weight off the next morning and it was great - for about an hour as i watched in dismay as it bowed...

    thanks, i didnt really want to glue it, but i will do that. silicone adhesive will do the job nicely i believe....

    he still hasnt indicated what he intends to produce with a printer - but your right, if it's practical to sub it, sub it. There's lots of people here that would print for you.
