We are getting a new printer in tomorrow which will be replacing our roland XJ 540. We plan on keeping it to run banners on since our trade in offer wasn't what we anticipated. We would part ways with it for $4,000.

Yes good point. It's not that these couldn't be cut, just a lot of fine weeding would have to be done. Plus HIP isn't the most fun stuff to work with, and we would be shape cutting the signs with a bandsaw if done in house. So in the long run, much easier and more profitable for us to sub...

Yes we are looking for longevity on these... But Latex? I'm thinking more screen printed or full solvent. I don't think a latex print would outlast what I can do with a roland xj540. Could be wrong though, just never heard anybody claim that the hp latex prints will outlast eco solvent outdoors.

Title sums it up pretty good. Looking for 20+ aluminum signs about 3'x3', white HIP with black text and legend. Would need to be printed, no overlaying as there is pretty fine detail in the design.

I think that's how it's supposed to work, it's paneling. That's how it can maintain great accuracy on long print/cut jobs, continuously checking alignment. Also less back and forth for the take up breaking the job into sections. If you don't want it to do that maybe you can turn off the...

Have a customer looking for (150) 10"x8" aluminum signs with the design embossed, raised like a license plate. Who would be a good vendor to outsource this to?

We used to return them to staples for a few bucks each. But at some point they started only allowing a handful or so a month. Now we have a few boxes full of them and want to get rid of them. Specifically, eco sol max 440ml. Are they worth anything? The chips? If not, how to recycle?

Trying to quote a job, customer needs (300) 25"x38" double sided calendars. If paper needs to be laminated. Also need to be able to roll up and fit into tubes. Who would be a good wholesaler for this?
