the point was missed totally as the OP was asking for font suggestions, not a logo, just a font that would look good on a Japanese steak house. hardly a branding by a marketing company needed, just a damn font that doesn't suck. some times, life isn't all that complex.

ae you making a mask for painting or a stencil? for a mask, I have masking material that I run thru my plotter. it is cheap, thicker than cast vinyl, more like crappy calendar vinyl but sticks and doesn't leak. for a stencil to use over and over again, routed plastic works, not sure about...

go to bing.com, enter: audio logos, then click on images. you can get an idea of what other logos for the same kind of business look like to get some inspiration. being edgy doesn't mean sloppy and poorly done and you might see some font ideas used by others that get that across without...

that is a very kind way of putting it. their original logo is really really bad! I liked the direction you were going in and as for the colors, the two shades of green, they aren't bad but they are trendy right now and will look dated at some point.

Hiroshinge is a nice font choice. Optima works OK too I suggested and since these will be channel letters, it will be cheaper to make a serif that is almost a sans-serif than a full on serif letter. by the way, where is the OP? what has he come up with for this?

"Signs of the Times" is a trade mag for our industry and has been around for since 1900 or so. I would think it would be that "Signs of the Times" and not the other religious magazine that would be doing the survey

seems like if Flexi was aware of the problem and failed to include the info in the upgrade of their software, they would need to replace what their stuff destroyed. Gerber wouldn't be liable for it. seems like 2.0 is really old software so I'm not suprised that they don't support it any more.

I did a bing and ask search looking for rights to use the logo and really didn't find much except a huge PDF concerning usuage such as format, colors and such. it was my understanding that we couldn't make a seal at all, now, it seems like that has changed.

in the past when we have made signs for DHS, we were told that the logo/seal was made my one company and we didn't have access to it and they would provide it. I now have a site that wants me to provide one. odes anyone know where to get a DHS seal?

+1 even if it looks like it is falling off it can be a real pain. make sure you have some good adhesive remover on hand.
