  1. flexi pro 8.1 questions - total noob

well Ian ;) we both know I am even more of a router noob than you, by at least a month... ...but regarding my Corel comment, which although I didn't name you, because it is a frequent post that bashes the foolishness of anyone buying Flexi... I suppose you may have taken my comments...
  2. flexi pro 8.1 questions - total noob

at the end of the day, it IS our concern... we all know illegal bootlegs of this sort of software are out there... and for all the people who think buying expensive sign software is foolish & Corel is the bomb... I'm sorry, but you are in a little side tangent of reality & not aware of everyone...
  3. gerber edge prints horribly when the cold weather comes

hmmmm..... I've never encountered that in 9 years running my edge :Canada 2:
  4. Another Illustrator Question

well, the easiest way is if the "information" going on at the edges is excess information, and you can afford to create a cut line slightly smaller than the artwork. Then you just print it as is... and the inline path you create for a cut will give you that bleed effect. Post up some pics of...

  6. Undetected registration mark on the Mimaki GC75FX??? How to correct???

we use Flexi. I don't have much time to help sort out your problem right now, but I can tell you my Mimaki CG160FX cuts from Flexi just fine. Mine needs to be set to "mark detect" in the settings on the plotter, and it needs to be in TP1, not CT1. If you are getting the red light to align...
  7. purchased signlab 8 - program stopped working

I believe it is often on upgrades from parallel dongles that a new dongle is required. I would consider trying to re-install the program if there are not a lot of customizations done to your workspace or pallettes. I would also hunt down some better numbers to call, including a sign supply...

  12. Is there a way to emulate mutoh weaving on a JV5?

wow... no, allow ME to back down... crikey.. $50K? Really? where's the "value" in that?
  13. Is there a way to emulate mutoh weaving on a JV5?

take your best shot Flame... but really, you are missing an opportunity... shouldn't you capitalize on something like "foolhardy expenses"... instead of "cheapness"? ...after all, you do know us mimaki owners spent more than you, not less, right?
  14. Is there a way to emulate mutoh weaving on a JV5?

I believe it exists only to hide Mutoh quality issues that a properly calibrated Mimaki wouldn't need anyway.
  15. Illy to Composer

no, but I always re-assign colors in Omega since I use it for edge printing, so you could make your groups have unique colors in Illy, and select by color in Omega to re-group, as well as assigning an edge foil
  16. Help, composer not able to output jpeg...

in case yu're not familiar with the image icon, it looks like a picture with a yellow frame, or a yellow bordered postage stamp. mrmoto, I think 2.0 is when Omega started embedding image files so they become resident in the .plt file.
  17. Bi or Uni???

in addition to feed calibration, there is calibration for the alignment of right-to-left printing and left-to-right printing... if that calibration goes out, you will get banding even if your feed calibration is correct, but printing unidirectional will correct it temporarily
  18. Do you add your Logo...

very strange international time lag phenomenon... I swear Pat's link wasn't showing up in this thread when I went and found it :omg2: ...oh well, it's good enough info to post twice anyway :thumb: (3 times now)
