the Gerber brand that I am familiar is for light garments. I have done hundreds, with absolute saticfaction. Great color, very good resolution. and it feels like silkscreen prints. I've worn shirts i made for my sign business & have been impressed with the color for over a year or more...

on my JV3, I can manually pull the carriage out from the capping station. There is a mechanism that lowers the capping station as the carriage pulls away. It takes an amount of pressure similar to pulling a car door open... not extreme pressure, but more than opening an un-magnitized cabinet...

even when it's "off"... mine still cleans every so many hours (I thought it was closer to every hour... but I don't really know) ...but it just doesn't have a green light, pulsing or otherwise... except when it's on.

my machine does it's frequent self clean procedure... but when my power is off, I do not get a pulsing green light? I've never heard the term "refresh rate" except in a flicker adjustment screen for a monitor

actually, based on what you wrote, it is not the same thing, if his file already has all the text laid out in the right font, by the client who owns the font.
