    yes, your printer will use all colors to make black. Check your color for rgb or cymk code and you will see it is not 100% pure black. So set your codes to 100% black and see what happens.

    slow down the feed speed.. and water is not good for aluminum.. it needs some juice with it. IT doesnt really cool the bit,, its for keeping the metal from clogging the bit.. which causes breakage

    A scan disk is not the answer. when you do a re-install.. be sure to delete the corel folder as well.. A reinstall does not rewrite every file. A reinstall does not re-initialize the software.. A reinstall with out deleteing the folder first does nothing of which you desire..

You may have a couple of those Temp folders. they labeled tmp or temp.. you can find them in windows directory, or a couple of other locatiuons,, doa search for them.
