  1. Copyright or Trademarked Printing

What you're stating is not what the OP was asking. However, in answer to your question..... NO, I would not...... and I do not do things haphazardly. Like WildWest stated, it only takes a minute to ask the appropriate questions and if they can't give you what you need, then you cannot do it...
  2. Copyright or Trademarked Printing

Nope. If you made a cent, creating and selling those decals, you are duplicating for a profit and have already violated the laws protecting them. The owners of the logo, trademark or file needs to know who, what and where these things are being made and for what purpose. You wanna violate...

  4. Need Help Printing several copies of the same image

You bring one image in. Set your orientation and how many you want. This is very basic. I see you have no experience, but whoever sold you your equipment, this is one of the first things you are shown regardless of manufacturer.
  5. Copyright or Trademarked Printing

I'm lost. Are we talking about can you do it legally or can you just plain do it ?? There's the big difference. :unclesam: If ya wanna do it and have the equipment to do it, go right ahead. I don't think anyone here is saying YOU CANNOT DO IT, we're just saying you shouldn't be if you're...
  6. A plane on a treadmill - physics question

At that height, he'd be a dead bird. He ain't thinking nothin'.
  7. Vinyl wrap refrigerator or kitchen cabinets?

Yes, all kinds of appliances, structures and walls. The projects are limitless. I put some custom made border vinyl up in our bathroom about 8 years ago and it looks as good now as it did back then. It gets hot and steamy to cold at night in there and nothings made it peel whatsoever...
  8. Hi

If you're looking for input and information on a Cricut machine, you'll probably hafta do it on your own, on the internet, much as you've already done. Those machines are not really considered professional type equipment for many reasons. Most people here are professional sign shops and don't...
  9. A plane on a treadmill - physics question

Who drew that stupid plane ?? That's an even better question. Can a man living east of the Mississippi River be buried west of the Mississippi River ??
  10. How do we make these?

Unless when you want to change one out in the middle somewhere, you could model them after ZIP lock letters and track. Make the track and recessed portion of the panel to fit so you can slide up and in and then sit back down with proper spacing for doing it from anywhere on the entire display.

Me too............. back in the day. :sleepin:
  12. HP FB550 - Ink peeling at edges on ACM signs after only 1 year...

You're starting to do this all over the place and you don't have a Merchant Membership. Why don't you look into that and stop hawking your wares without the proper membership ??
  13. How is this metal sign made?

My vote is some sort of an epoxy process. Stenciled lettering like a screen process, spray painted and then a finish coat or two of a clear of your choice. That "L" is a give away that someone messed up the stencil. either before the paint went down or while pulling it up.
  14. Oracal Rapid air cast vinyl with 290 laminate question

I really like happy endings........... all kinds.
  15. Copyright or Trademarked Printing

While that is all true, you still can't copy them legally. If the farmer puts it in his basement, silo or rooftop, it is still wrong. The OPs question was about someone coming to him, wanting him to print these logos. If money is made in any part, it is 100% illegal. The determining factor...
  16. Copyright or Trademarked Printing

I don't think you can have such an open ended waiver count in law. You are the printer/duplicator. Therefore, it is up to you to make sure you have an authorized and dated signature, such as from Harley/Disney/Warner Bros/John Deer/Eagles/ Cardinals/Flyers and the list goes on. These are all...
  17. Copyright or Trademarked Printing

This same question comes up about once a month, it seems. No trademarks, logos or anything else which is protected may be reproduced by you. YOU are the one who needs it in Black & White, signed, dated, sealed and delivered in your hand. The person pressing the print button is the person...

  19. Discussion Forget Tariffs, what about a Pandemic?

Not around here. Ya can't recycle lead or asbestos without all kindsa red tape. Plastic..... just throw in the recyclable bin. As for traveling.... I'm kinda glad I have nowhere to go coming up. :supersmilie: Yeah, passing the bottle is easier and we have bottles of listerine laced with...
  20. Methods to remove painted lettering

Ya know, that's something we used to do, back in the 70's and 80's, during the van mural craze. We started with gently sanding with 1200 grit paper on a van and put murals on it. All hand painted and airbrushed. While it was sanded, it looked bad, but once we hit it with the final coats of...
