to avoid having to do so for every project, you can preset your cutter as "none" in your preflight preferences.

first window in your preflight, select "none" for cutter if you forget to do so, and your file is ripped already.... right click your job in your print que, select info, and you can change your cutter to "none" there as well.

do you do your own alignments? maybe you have some extreme variables inputted that is throwing your machine into a mathematical hissy-fit?

honestly, i think this would look cool if it was a Bubbalicious - car, with logos on the hood/doors. watermelon wrap on the car itself looks dumb, but hey... maybe the client is into that kinda thing

can't simply add a feathered shape overlay of the color you are trying to hit? you'll blend the gradient to the color you're trying to hit.

+1 phototex cuts horrible. also, most cranes are completely saturated in oil/hydraulic fluid. +1 to mag striping most likely being your best bet.

+1 this never seen a cast vinyl do this, i've even applied vinyl over a decade-old to banners/lexan/everything and its never cracked like that... distinct tearing stemming from the corners of cuts. most definately calendared vinyl, you got there. mislabeled/mistaken product maybe?
