first window in your preflight, select "none" for cutter
if you forget to do so, and your file is ripped already.... right click your job in your print que, select info, and you can change your cutter to "none" there as well.
honestly, i think this would look cool if it was a Bubbalicious - car, with logos on the hood/doors.

never seen a cast vinyl do this, i've even applied vinyl over a decade-old to banners/lexan/everything and its never cracked like that...

i use 90% isopropyl alcohol and a slew of clean rags. works like a charm.
washing truck as you would your car, letting dry, and then wiping down each section with isopropyl (extra care to get around every rivot and the "frame" of my tile) just before I apply each piece.
