shinerite shrinks like friggin crazy. use 651 and heat gun it. i love shinerite for race cars, but it shrinks like 3/32" in a matter of weeks outside.

as far as only having the Big Squeegee...you can get away with it for a while. i laminated about 2 rolls worth by hand with the BS before i got my ledco. if your current jobs could all be accomplished with a 30" machine then most of your inkjet jobs can be as well. i love my 30" vp-300i...

i dont think i'd do it unless these fellas came in for them.

i have a vp-300i and love it. fits where i need it to fit, i craigslisted a laminator that works awesome...and when i need larger prints there are plenty of people ready to jump when i email to sub them out. the Big Squeegee works great with anything but oracal 210, imo... :)

i use powertape (single sided). seems to tunnel less and the finished product looks better to me with no fold.

Knep..if its new super clean aluminum i use 3621 ive learned if the surface isnt perfectly clean it'll lift in some areas. i just re-did half our car in 3165ra/210..that worked great on some "less than straight" areas, and it's what i use on lots of my digital print stuff...so i'll...

i wouldnt ever do double sided 18x24's that cheap...i did 75 of them half that size and got almost that much per. (and it sucked) do good work, dont sell yourself short and let the lowballers move on.

mine did that...another cleaning and it was perfect again. only on certain settings in VW too. it was at its worst just after a cleaning. then i did another, waited a spell and it was perfect again.

i have the roland color system library and nothing on there even approaches fluro-ish at all. some pretty decent greens are attainable but orange? not even worth a test print on a cmyk machine.

yeah @ white box then i tick the trim marks tab in versaworks so i know where to cut it.
