You have to make a sure you hear high frequency noize when the printhead goes from maintenance station and stay a little under spitting box.
If no noize - printhead is not working. And you have to check all few fuses around head drivers one more time.
For first time it will be scary a little. Because many possibilities to damage some parts.
So, my steps...
Remove top cover and top plastic covers on sides.
Release the tension of steel belt on left pulley
Open steel belt on both sides of carriage. Move left opened edge of steel belt to left...
What’s the problem? Just replace bearings for new set. Any what you want. Chinese or other. Lifetime will depends on bearings quality. All 8 pcs are same.
It was bought from a dealer. It is in pricelist of 2016 year. As I told, it not available anymore. Laast years I bougnt generic bearings from SKF, NSK or EZO.
Actually, Mutoh told they bearings was polished outside for prevent to damage roller strip.
For 1604/1614 it was possible to buy complete set of bearings.
The article for order was KY-14620. I am not sure if it available for order now. For new models is possible to buy complete carriage or bottom arm with bearings.
I can't imagine you have all nozzles on the printhead if you have that printout.
Add please picture of nozzle check. From service mode will be better.
Big drops - because your printhead has missalignment while print. It can be wrong step adjust or printhead align.
You can run the printer with default IP 192.168.1.253 address if you don't know actual IP. It is possible while start up.
Than you can change to other IP as you want.
It means the priner is swithed to longstore or cleaning mode. For fix it you have to go in diagnostic menu and change working mode parameter to correct one.
Try to excahnge Magenta ink lines on dampers inlet with some other ink channel. And make a Little Charge. You will see is it printhead (damper) problem or ink lines.
After reset you have to calibrate media sensor. Just go to diagnostic menu into Adjustment submenu. And run first item Media Rear/Edge calibration. It is automatic procedure. Just follow requests from the printer.
