Thanks for the advise. I have already purchased the Roland. Hopefully it works out for me. I will be looking more into the latex side of things in the near future.

I am selling my workhorse Roland SC545EX eco sol max ink print/cut machine. If your interested in something like this. It has been a very good workhorse with little to no problem.

No I have not put any thought into the latex printers. My personal feelings they do not produce the vibrant colors eco inks do. I have seen in my area where the prints are lasting 2 years tops. That may be the operator (not sure). I just don't see the quality behind the latex.

Oh boy. I hope that won't be a problem for me. But they do have pretty good generic profiles in versa works.

I had issues with that also. What i figured it came to be was too much heat causing the vinyl and banner to wrinkle. I lowered the heat and or turned it off and no more problems. I do not use a take up reel though.

I currently have the SC545EX and have only used Roland ink in it. I would suggest not to change.
