I'm working on a new project where we are printing small backlit 3mm Acrylic signs. I'm having problems with to much light bleed and wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to print a dark enough black to only have the light visible where there is no ink and the rest look dark black...
we have always used Avery's SF100-840-S. I've tried others and this product seems to be the one that prints and cuts the best. We have used it on both Gerber's and HP Latex Printers. I have also found the cheapest place to purchase it is from Earl Mich in the Chicago Land area.
I'm not sure what everyone is talking about not being able to save and all of that crap. I have X7 on at least 3 different computers here and you can save and use it fully. Just don't login to the subscription method that gives you all of the upgrades and service packs. If you have the 100...
Hello all, I came across some butt ends of rolls that had been cut down. They are a low tack vinyl paint mask and I have no idea who made them. They are bright orange and I can't seem to find a manufacturer that makes a bright orange vinyl pain mask. The guy I bought them from says they are the...
We mostly print on precut parts. We would have went for the 7151Plus but it had just been released at SGIA where we bought ours and we had a job we needed it for as quickly as possible and the 7151 wasn't going to be available until January at the soonest. That machine is really nice and its...

I also suggest going the NAS Route. I have both a Qnap and a Seagate NAS, the qnap has more bells and whistles in my opinion. I backup my NAS devices to Amazon S3 server. That is a very powerfull offsite backup that can do a lot of different things for you. I would recommend that as a Backup...
Are there any other flatbed manufacturers that have a jettable primer besides Mimaki's PR-100 ink? Looking at adding a 4x8 machine and want to make sure I have looked at everything.
I have one. It was included on my 6042 drawing. We used it for machining our own fixtures and they turned out great. PM me your email address and I will send it to you in the morning.
I was wondering if there is a way around the issue of not being able to arrange more than 30 files at a time. I print a lot of 1 off signs that are small on my UJF-6042 and I like to group them all together and print them on my fixture and find it easier to let Rasterlink do the auto layout...
