  1. SAi license scam

I agree their system should have probably warned you before de-activating it from the last computer, but it does specify a limit in their terms of service. "There is a limit of six times per year for SAi Support to remove from or add to another computer without an additional cost."...
  2. Replace damper 1638uh

I wouldn't recommend it. It could cause a split in the tube and then it will run ink everywhere.
  3. Replace damper 1638uh

Possible, yes, would I advise it NO. The ink and time is a lot cheaper than the print heads or main board if something goes wrong. The 1638UH doesn't have sub tanks so all the ink will come flooding out at you as soon as you disconnect the ink line from the top of the damper. At best it makes...

It looks like you need to plug it into the one labled J8 in the below image. That plug is for the Vacuum fan.

If your F1612 has the ADC go to Modules, click on the tool you are having issues with and then click on the ADC button. That should fix the issue.
  7. HP latex 700w: bad printer, bad support, advice needed. How did you return/replace your HP 700/800?

Where you buy these printers from does matter. In the USA HP has two different resellers tracks, 2-in-1 that just install the printer and 3-in-1 that both install and service the printer. We are a 3-in-1 dealer and we have sold 25 of the 700/800 series and everyone of them is working. Have...

The only one that I know of currently is from Wasatch: http://www.wasatch.com/hc/automation/network/mainFrame.html. Onyx's website says it has one coming: https://onyxgfx.com/products/onyx-sync/

  11. Need help with my HP 335 voltage being over 240v

Please note I am not a licensed electrician, but I do install HP Latex printers for a living and have run into this situation before. Any electrical work should be done by a qualified licensed electrician. If you have a 3 phase electrical service you might be able to get lower voltage by...
  12. Question Mutoh cleaning mode (turn it down to a simmer)

When the printer is at the home screen, when it says either "Ready to Print" or "Media End", you press the right arrow key to cycle thru the cleaning modes. Both lights on means the printer is in Short/Economy cleaning mode. That would use the least amount of ink during the printer's auto...
  13. Mutoh xpertjet1641sr

In the fold closest to the print head did you fold each cable individually or all 4 together? It needs to be folded all 4 together to keep the order correct.
  14. Mutoh xpertjet1641sr

I would say that something was done wrong with the head cables, can you post pictures showing how the folds were done? A bad fuse will not cause an E085 error message but they should still be checked once you get past this error as an E085 is normally caused by something that can fry fuses...
  15. Mutoh xpertjet1641sr

Did you follow the folds in the old cables? It is very easy to mess up the order of the head cables if you don't fold them properly and this would cause your issue. Can you take a picture a little further away showing the folds you did?
  16. Mutoh xpertjet1641sr

The connectors on the cables look good. The cables look newer, did you replace them with the print head?
  17. Mutoh xpertjet1641sr

CR board is a pass thru board. It almost never causes issues. Can you post close up pictures of the connectors on the head cables? The metal contact points are glued down and that glue wears out over time and it can cause the metal to lift up and shift. Why were you replacing the print head...
  18. Mutoh xpertjet1641sr

E085 means the main board can't communicate properly with the print head. Normally this is because either a Head Cable or CR Cable is not plugged in correctly and pins get crossed. Make sure that the corner of the ribbon cables are not folded over in anyway as this will cause misalignment of...
  19. Need Help More Opus issues with my summa 160

Not a problem, glad it helped.
  20. Need Help More Opus issues with my summa 160

Did you try to turn on OPOS Panel? It's a setting on the cutter that tells it to only cut what is within 4 of the registration dots before moving onto the next 4. It cuts down on media feed movement and should fix this issue.
