Ours has always done that to some degree or another... I find softer materials do this much more often leading me to believe the bit is "scavenging" more material as it enters slowly. I just play with the Z axis speed when it's an issue.
I use mineral spirits and a single edge razor. If you wanna get really fancy you can use a dedicated rivet brush to do those and finish everything off w/ denatured alcohol. Denatured will generally remove any hazing marks the razors will leave in the aluminum paint on the panels. That's...
This stuff is buttery to put on, but I wish it just stayed put a little better initially. I do like the gloss level of this better than 3M and the slightly thinner thickness w/ the 1360 lam vs the 180c/85XX. I need to hang some of the Oracal 3751 to see if I like that better than the 3951.
You could matte lam over the avery. I think the avery is slightly thinnner from the start so you don't finish too thick and have problems with the 1080 staying down.
You have to cut coro blazingly fast in order to keep the 'tits' from hanging on. We use a double fluted upcut bit, but I don't think the aluminum will like the feed rates and/or that bit at that speed.
