  1. Anyone use SAM INK L25500 Inks??

So do your cartridges work with the Latex 560? STS says theirs only work with the 300's and they can't get past the chip reader on the 500's. If I buy a cartridge and it doesn't read, whats your solution?
  2. Anyone use SAM INK L25500 Inks??

How come you don't sell the 3L 570 boxes?
  3. Where to get empty cores

What if you put them in a cheap square box first? The tube provides more strength and the box removes the surcharge. https://www.uline.com/BL_3656/Square-Tubes
  4. ISO 48" mesh banner with PVC backer

Try Grimco. They do slit down rolls and their shipping was fast (for me at least). Free s/h on orders $100+, including on media.
  5. "Made in USA" - Is this achievable?

There should be a "Made in US and US Allies" label.
  6. "Made in USA" - Is this achievable?

To be fair, other countries have out-America'ed America in the past...
  7. "Made in USA" - Is this achievable?

Ya, but if I put this on a sticker and slap it on my product, I doubt it will go over well with customers.
  8. "Made in USA" - Is this achievable?

One thing we want to do eventually is license the USMC logos and trademarks, and there is a significant royalty discount if it is an unqualified "Made in the USA" product. There's also some stuff with government contracts, but the bar for those is a lot lower (like 50%+ made in the USA).
  9. "Made in USA" - Is this achievable?

I've been trying to figure out if I can use the "Made in USA" label, but I'm not sure its even possible given the supply chain ecosystem. For example the ink for HP Latex all says Singapore. If one day I can buy from STS ink or something, then that would actually be more "American" than the...
  10. Where to get empty cores

What clever ways are there? I know they use thick cardboard tubes for pyrotechnic work.
  11. Where to get empty cores

Maybe I can just hit up some local print shops. I'm not in the sign business, so maybe they won't see it as competition?
  12. Where to get empty cores

I suppose that raises the other question of what do people usually do with empty ones? Just dump em?
  13. Where to get empty cores

I need empty 3" ID cores to act as take-up reels. I called my media suppliers and none of them have them. Is there anywhere else I can get these? The ones advertised for shipping have walls that are too thin.
  14. Anyone using 3rd party latex inks?

Which printer do you have? STS says that their 831 cartridges work on the 300's but not the 500's. I wonder if SAM has the same limitation.
  15. HP 560 frozen after cancelling job

I feel like they really cheaped out on the CPU for this $20k printer...
  16. Ink expiration does not match box

Of course, the ink thickens... it all ties back to Big Wig.
  17. Ink expiration does not match box

Juicero did try to make a juicer that rejects the fruit. But they went out of business cause everyone realized that was stupid...
  18. 3 d printing is anybody doing it and how are u making money

Thanks! I think its a poster child for where the technology is today for the prosumer level. I don't know how much more home printers will advance since they seem to have hit rock bottom on build cost. But on the industrial cutting edge, I'm still blown away at what is being done. It looks like...

This is what the build quality of the markforge is capable of, even without reinforcing. https://imgur.com/a/3sPjDUI
