Our 560 is currently hardlined into a laptop to maintain a reliable connection to the RIP. But then it doesnt get internet access so that when it attempts to send HP an error report on bootup, it takes forever to time out. Is there any way to disable that?
I always use take-up reel now to avoid head strikes.
The platten covers are the two fabric things that go into the heating chamber and velcro out the bottom right? I find the material to always bunch out when trying to clear that during loading and forming a big burrito in the print area. I...
One issue I've had with the platten covers is that the material sometimes gets stuck on it during load. But I will try that cause this is a new problem. I didnt get this before and I did have the covers installed when I first got the printer.
The heater is after the printing, so that would imply the scratches are coming from the curing chamber and not the printhead. I'm not sure what in the heater can do this.
What was happening earlier was that the printhead was definitely scratching and smearing the print, and increasing the...
Since theres no smearing, I don't think its the printheads. But I can't find any pattern to these chicken scratches that show up here and there. It only started recently but I don't remember any significant factors that might have precipitated it.
And what could I use to mask it on unprinted...
Is there one with US based tech support? I'm losing my mind trying to talk to people located in India. I called onprintshop and couldn't really understand through the accent, though they seem to understand email pretty well though.
Zohobooks is a whole different story.
Me: I want to add an...
I've been looking into payment services and was wondering what people's firsthand experience was with each. I keep reading horror stories of CC chargebacks and I want to know if thats just 'cost of doing business' or if anyone has found a better alternative.
For my personal design services, I...
I thought about starting a thread but I think it kind of fits into this so I hope I'm not derailing things:
Is OnPrintShop trying to be the all-in-one solution? In addition to setting up your website, they seem to do a lot of the backend stuff as well. But these laundry list of features gives...
Regarding Latex 3/500 series:
The last time I remember turning on trough in Onyx, I think the bars only had CMYK. If the purpose of the bars is to keep all printheads firing, shouldn't it also have LM and LC? My memory is kind of fuzzy on this, but is it suppose to have all 6 colors?
How much should I expect to pay for the service kits if I'm out of warranty? I'm not in your region but I'd like to know if you guys are required to charge a certain amount or do you have more discretion?
I live less than an hour away from Grimco and delivery is free if over $100. I don't know if that's a national policy, but thats pretty good to me as it pretty much covers every roll of wide format media.
Ink density is what drives ink usage, not passes. More passes = better print quality and more time in the curing chamber. That's why you cant use crazy high ink densities without using very high passes.
The only exception is possibly your first print after bootup. I've noticed that print tends...
