I wanted to see what your experiences have been to work with PDS Equipment for Mimaki equipment. Any feedback positive or negative is welcome. I want to gauge how the company is viewed from its customers... Not from the sales pitch. Thanks in advance!
What's even worse is when you are a supplier and trying to compete against Lexjet against their own "HP" branded vinyl. LOL its such a racket. As Bigfish said... much better options at better prices.
I saw that happen first hand in Atlanta, specifically Cobb county in the last 10 years. Moved to Nashville 3 years ago and it's the same here. I saw Matthew McConaughey recently being interviewed about the same thing happening in Austin and complaining about it. For years their slogan was...
A house that size in Gwinnett County (Dacula area) would go for mid $200s to low $300s. Plus the property tax will be SOOOO much lower. Price of gas is lower too! Good schools in that area as well. 3BR Houses in Dacula, GA
My opinion would be to secure a job for a while and get settled, then consider opening your own business. I've helped people start sign businesses in that area, and while you are right that there will be a lot of opportunity in the area you are moving... its still very expensive to start a...
I lived in the Atlanta area for years. There are a couple of people you can contact.
https://www.georgiaprintco.com/ In Lakeland, GA. About 4 hours south of Dacula. It's been a long time since I've used Georgia Printco, but they have a lot of grand format printing capabilities...
I've seen alot of that type stuff on Aurora in the past. I would imagine that a biker would want something one-off instead of out of a catalog (Maybe not though...). Here's a thought- What if you commissioned a tattoo artist that is willing to draw something like that for him and you scan and...
PM Me- I grew up in Franklin. I have a tech out of Atlanta that will do a great job for you. TNT Wide Format out of Atlanta. Best Mutoh tech I know. Thahn (pronounced "TAAN") Tran. TNT Wide Format 678-644-6177 tntwfp@outlook.com Tell him Jim Moore referred you.
I saw these or a very close version on Kickstarter - Don't feed the hype - or if you do, overpriced the hell out of them and get 100% deposit before you touch a job like this.
Did you see how many are being 3D printed. I wouldn't think that would be efficient, but with enough around the country, I suppose that its a good way to get these produced.
My father-in-law has a small fishing lure manufacturing business and has been slammed since this all started. Apparently a lot of people are buying because of the time that they anticipate having.
Good Morning- I am a Regional Sales Manager for OKI in the US for the Colorpainter Wide Format printers, so if something like this comes up, we have to send it through the dealer technicians before our in-house techs get involved. Have you been able to do that yet, or are you hoping to get an...
As has been mentioned, vertical saves space, but I think the question should be whether you are direct printing to the stored sheets, or just mounting graphics. If you're direct printing, you're going to have problems with bowing over time. Add in temperature differences and it will be a mess.
Incorrect... More like, 10 years and they take care of the machine and do the maintenance as scheduled. And before you come back and claim the Zero maintenance on Latex blah blah blah, save your breath.
As has already been mentioned, you posted your "question" with very little clarity on...
I don't recall the orbus systems having the hardware for the alignment pucks at the top like that. They may have changed it since I last did one. I agree with Bigfish on getting them done out vs learning to do those in house. If they aren't doing them on a regular basis, the learning curve is...
