  1. Summa pinch roller sources?

The rubber on my pinch wheels is pretty hard and the tracking doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be. I've had mine for about 6 yrs now, don't these go bad after a while?
  2. Summa pinch roller sources?

I'd like to know too and also thought that was pretty high for what they are.
  3. How big is your shop sq.ft ceiling ht etc?

Yeah, you better make DAMN sure of that one before anything...trust me, living the pain of that crap still.
  4. Arlon wrap kit pros & cons

Any other comments specifically on the Arlon 6000X and 3220 laminate? I am considering trying this combo, but this thread has a lot of both lovers and haters. I've so far used Oracal 3551RA, some 3951RA and 3M 180C (v1). I typically prefer Oracal products and was not very impressed with the...
  5. CorelDraw!

I prefer Corel over Illustrator, but that is just me and is personal preference more than anything. Both are very good and both will do what the other does.
  6. Bulk Ink For Mimaki

Take a look at Triangle JVS inks. Not sure of all who sell it, but I believe the prime distributor is NuSign (www.nu-flex.com) out of CA. I do know that NorthLight Color sells the ink, but not sure about the actual systems. Another distributor I'm familiar with is Pacific Coast Sign Supply.
  7. $3.000 joke!

Huh, I have Inspire XP Pro too, but never use it. AFAIK, the company went TU so I'd guess that support might be tough to get...but on the other hand, Inspire XP Pro may actually become a collectors item!
  8. How much area around.....

Unless you're really big or really little, you'll still need the same space around the machine
  9. Little bitty red dots in white background???

Pretty sure this has to do with your Media Profile. Even when you say it is WHITE or BLACK or any other color, the RIP still mixes those colors in whatever proportions it has been told to do...regardless of what YOU say the color is. The media profile was likely made using a media with a...
  10. A chance to upgrade...or not

Again, only if it offers something yours currently does not...that is truly value-added. Would that money be better suited to a different piece of equipment...or a savings fund (if you are paying cash for it...which you really should be). If financing the new amount, consider that very...
  11. A chance to upgrade...or not

Only if it will do what your current equipment cannot at the rate you require. Otherwise, it's just another expense that may be unnecessary. I was aware of the same machines (PCSS, right?)
  12. Installation Rates, small jobs

    Here here!
  13. Print & Cut

Ours used to be pretty good, but recently has been really challenging to get accurate contour-cuts. From talking to others that have separate printer and cutter...where the cutter is a fairly hi-end rig, they can accurately contour-cut many FEET with ease. FWIW...
  14. Contour Cut not following where it should

Did you try the auto-adjust too?
  15. Roland Price Increase

Nearly 40% increase on something that is already too damn much.

  17. VersaArt-640...My New Toy

I use this Ultra ULT33046 Backup UPS 2000VA/1200W w/AVR with my SP-540V and it will keep it printing, heaters and all, for several minutes. I've never ran it completely out, but I have tried it for a few minutes with zero problems. Paid all of $230 for it, also bought a 1500VA version for $150...
  18. Corel Color Question

I honestly don't know as I've not tried that. Which 'Corel RGB' setting are you specifically referring to?
  19. Corel Color Question

Here are the settings I use, found under "Tools", "Color Management". See if this helps. You might have to do a Google search for the "Adobe-RGB (1998).icm" file, but see if this helps.
