why not connect it with an ethernet connection and a switch?

you can use any table to mount it as long as you can get the top of the table nice and flat. We just screwed ours into our work top, just an idea to save some money. Also, if your table is longer it gives you a little more flexibility and easy handling with prints longer than 104" .

i use brown kraft paper for the backing, you can get framers tape online from any art supply company.

I would be worried about the print heads or data cables or encoder strip getting damaged while you are driving around. then you have a 20k printer dead in the water when you get to the job.
