you should be allowed to return the upgrade, if not i would contact a lawyer just for clarity on how to craft your response. you paid for a product based on a misleading sales pitch, it isn't what you paid for and for that you should have no trouble returning it.

That is incredibly high ink costs, if that is accurate you need to make some adjustments or change mfg. for comparison my hpL25500 has $.172/sq.ft. ink cost. on over 50000 sq.ft. of printing. Just a rough calculation puts your ink cost at $48000 for 50000 sq.ft, compared to $8600 on the HP...

seems like you could reprint the banner before going to the store and trying a bunch of fixes on it.

every printer and profile is different, your best bet is to print a bunch of 1" swatches and pick the one that works.
