Does the Phototex go on pretty easy? Does it have Air release? Need to be laminated? I have been using 3m 180CV3 for wall wraps but I want to cut down on my costs a little as it seems to be overkill.
I am interested in the same thing. I have a job to do about 500 sq ft of wall. Wondering what material everyone is using.
Mudmedia- Can you post up what answers you get?
Thanks for getting back to me. I think I figured it out. I Rip'd it first and then went back, checked the "nest" feature and now it seems like it should print correctly. I was in the Rip/Print box and it wouldn't let me separate them.
Thank you again for your help.
I can't figure out how to separate panels so they fit on the vinyl. I have 6 panels to print, 2 are really thin (10 inch) and 4 are 28" W. In Flexi it won't allow me to print the 10" panel next to the 28" panel with an overlap of an inch on each one. Instead it is showing that I need to print...
I was actually going to ask that question. I normally use 3M but I have been having issues on some of their QC issues with almost every roll of Lam I get. I have been using Oracal for the last week but haven't done any full wraps yet. How well does it stay down since you can't use primer on...
$1k with the artwork? If they provided everything to me I would probably be close to that. If the artwork wasn't provided I would charge hourly for design.
You did a great job, It looks great and I am sure you will get more business out of it. As for the Veloster I am sure that isn't...
I had a customer of mine come to me and was looking for a 3D wood sign for their new restaurant. I am farming out the work and installation out to another local company but the client is paying me directly.
Does anyone know if I need to have a contractors license to be able to sub out jobs...
I have a 1204 also and Red's are very tough. I use a couple different profiles but I can't seem to find one that prints reds nicely. Good luck in your search. Hopefully someone on here can help us figure it out.
Hello, I have been having issues for a little while now with Vertical banding. I wanted to see what the rest of you run for heat settings with say 3m180cv3. I have turned down the pre and platen heater down to 37c and the after is at 50c. I am still running into the issues with vertical...
I wrapped a Mazda with matte 210 lam over black and it was fine. I didn't have any issues with it conforming. 2 years later the roof is starting to look like beat but he knew that going in. It was a friends car and he wanted it for cheap. I normally only use cast lam for wraps but it worked.
