  11. Going crazy!! try to cut Cast laminate with either Cal or Cast printed vinyl.

    Mmm... don't think 210 is a cast laminate. Weeding small text is often easier if a weed line can be put between the letters. Some software will do it automatically, others you need to do yourself. Also, you can trying masking first, flipping over and weeding off of the mask.

    You don't mention how big a piece, but I would do smallish shapes on our laser engraver - perfect cuts, no rough edges. Maybe there is someone local to you who could help?

    Greetings! We are producing a digitally printed wall graphic on Oracal 3628 with 210 matte laminate. It will consist of four vertical panels. My question is, would you put an overlap between the panels, and if so, by how much? The graphic is going on to semi-gloss painted drywall. Thanks! Graham
  18. Problem with Oracal 651 sticking to transfer tape

    Personally I dislike clear tape, but one thing that might help. Try placing the decal face down and peeling the backing paper away from the vinyl in a rolling action. Quite often this works better than trying to peel the decal off the paper.

    Concensus is that you don't need a primer for adhesion, but it does help fill in the pores and give a smoother finish.
