Greetings!
We have been asked to print a wall mural for a local museum. The 'wall' is MDF currently painted in flat latex.
Just wondered what was the favorite vinyl/lam for this type of application - and should I get them to repaint in a semi-gloss?

Can anyone suggest a supplier of the LED bases to make up Acrylic edge lit signs? The ones I've seen seem to be based on an aluminum extrusion with the LED's inside and a slot along the length for the acrylic panel.
Thanks in advance.
Greetings!
I recently posted about issues we are having with jobs bombing out part way. Versaworks reports "Printer not connected".
It occured to me that our Roland communicates via our network - i.e. it's on the same network as our other computers. Is it conceivable that network traffic could...
I agree it's not our job to police copyright, given a reasonable assumption can be made. If a customer comes to you with original art but hasn't paid the designer or got a release for it, how would we know? Do we have to run background checks on every piece of artwork? I think a simple paragraph...

We're trying to process the job from hell at the moment (bad files, odd blemishes, etc) - the latest "hiccup" is that the printer stopped about a third into the job. The RIP has apparently finished and sent the entire file, but the printer just shows the "Busy" light lit and...
+1 for the Critter (K-Grip is another one). Haven't used our HVLP gun since getting the Critter.
One of the big pluses for us, if you're doing small quantities of paint, is that you can use a regular mason jar on the Critter and after use just put a lid on it for storage. Minimal cleanup!
We seem, perhaps, to have lost the skill to produce a quick pencil sketch to seal the deal? Before computers became so common place, "roughs" or "visuals" were the order of the day.
Regardless of the material, how were the panels installed? Did you still use hanging strips on panels? If the panels were just slid in to the frame without hanging strips, then you were asking for trouble, especially on a 4' high box.
Greetings!
Having just watched an episode of Mythbusters where they test the indestructibilty of spray-on truck bed liner, I was just wondering if anyone had tried it as a hard coat for foam signs?
