Most of the damage I have seen over the years is because the shipper has not packed it well....Case in point, yesterday I got a shipment of memo boards.....5 inner boxes in a master box that held 6....With the void being filled with scrunched paper....Also, the master box was at least 1" taller...

So how much time & materials is required to prep MDO to get it ready?....Versus just going with an aluminum composite material......

If you ship volume, this is insane.....Self insure and put a little from each shipment into a reserve and pay your own claims.....

Terms like this are only acceptable if you accept them.....If you talk with your wallet and take your business elsewhere suppliers will get the message.....

On an HP Indigo press copy changes will be a few $s each....Are those Australian prices?.....In the US/Canada I would probably be 15% to 20% less than that....

The amount of rent you pay is only relevant if it affects your bottom line......I have a friend in the sporting goods business.....they have several niche locations where the rent is 4 or 5 times what they pay at their warehouse type locations.....But with the traffic they still make money...

Just thinking out loud......But I use a inkjet to fill in the blanks on some pre-printed forms....These could not be run through laser printer but the inkjet worked well....Maybe finding a substrate that is better with an ink jet will be an idea....
