    When we upgraded our Seiko printers, we had to switch to Onyx because our previous RIP wouldn't support them anymore. Since then, I've found ONYX x10.1 to be extremely particular with needing EXACTLY the right profile, etc... for the EXACT printer model that you are using or else major problems...

    Printing problems for Newbie to solvent.

    Any head strikes that I've ever had have definitely left ink on the media. Good idea. You could also roll some of the material off and see if you still have the problem. It looks like flawed material to me. Hope you figure it out.
