Don't know what version of flexi your on but what I would do for this is import the image into flexi, select the image then go to the bitmap tab. Go down to filters then to brightness/contrast, play around with those filter to get the elements you need to stand out so you can trace it. Or use...

We have two of those set up (4 of the Blue holders). One in a 15" wide and one in a 30" wide. They work good but I secured them with screws to the table to prevent them from popping off the table. That happened one to many times.....
