  1. Time Flies....

I got married in Mexico 3 years ago on may 29. We stayed at the Barcello just out side of Playa Del Carmen. We had a blast and it's really nice there. So nice that we went back for out anniversary. You can go snorkeling right in front of the resort. Plus they serve Corona - as much as you...
  2. Solvent printable card stock / poster board

Maybe try some backlit films. I know it's not for a backlit application but some of the films might be thick enough for your purposes. Print, trim, done. Just a thought.
  3. XC-540 periodic stopping

Anti virus running in the background? Could be the problem. Also like it says above, try a new cable and also try running direct from the comp to the printer.
  7. Cancelation/return policy

We're in the process of getting set up to take credit and debit cards. We've got just about everything in place except one thing. The company we're dealing want to know what our Cancelation/return policy is. In all honesty, we do not have a policy in place. Besides, we've never had anyone...

  9. Any problems with Avery Etchmark?

I find Avery to be very unforgiving compared to mac tac. Every little blemish shows up and you can't get rid of them.
  10. Copyright infringement ?

Maybe if you change the size of the font? What about using a different font? Are you licensed to use that font? Could this cause damages to the original grotto? Could someone potentially looking for the grotto mistake yours for the real thing thus causing damages and lost revenue for the...
  11. More fun with Copyright curveball

Perhaps I should elaborate. In this case, he's looking to use iconic paintings (google - icon paintings). From what I gather, these are paintings that are based around religion. You know, saints and sinner type stuff. Now try a search on Saint Michael Archangel for example. Google turns up...
  12. More fun with Copyright curveball

I have an artist that wants to do this. Take an image of a very old (public domain) painting. Blow it up and print it on canvas. He then plans to paint over the image and will apply his own "artistic" twist on things. I know the photographer of the image owns the copyright however in this...
  13. Tricky Problem with the Cut Contour...

Flatten everything but the cut line. I usually uncheck "preserve spot colors" in the save as eps menu. make sure the cut line is set to 0.25 If that doesn't work, it's possible that there's an issue with the cut line. you can try "make compound path" Copy and paste into a new document...

  15. Like MC Hammer Says- "You Can't Paint This!"

I think it looks great. Might not be the best picture, but let's face it, it's a ford dealership so it works... Good price too.
  16. Biggest Mistake...

Showed up in the morning to do a big install for a parade float and realized I didn't have any of the prints with me. Oooops. Let's just say that I probably would have been thrown in jail for excessive speeding.
