delivery was fine for me. it was putting the machine on a fork lift to get it thru a 2nd floor window that had me holding my breath. The window was barely big enough to get the printer thru. I'm not looking forward to moving day.
Nice size shop BTW.
That's a tough one.
My spell check says jewellers is correct but not jewelers.
A google search for either word shows up with more double "L" entries at the top, although their are quite a few single "L" entries as well.
I'd probably redo that one just for the sake of saving face. But... I'd...
I can see this being useful in some shops but not mine. Anybody with a laminator can do the same thing.
I do however like the large backlit table space with cutting matt but I can't justify 20k for that.
Can't say for sure on a mutoh, but on my roland, bad/dirty wiper blades usually leads to ink drops on the media among other problems. Don't know where to buy them but I'd say that if your asking for help, than it's time for some new ones.
Vinyl that thing! Any "serious" drummer will have separate heads and/or drums for recording. The graphic is simply for show in a live situation. The difference in sound will be minimal and can be fixed with proper tuning and / or the sound guy. BTW, most drummers I know have no idea how to...
Long story short, I had to get an X-ray assisted shot into my ankle joint. This came after 3 years of walking on a miss-diagnosed ankle break / surgery / major joint infection / second surgery to clear infection. My ankle felt absolutely great for about one week. The shot wore off and I've...
anything over 5' is an issue on my machine. I always add a ton of bleed, turn off the heat and slow the machine down for cutting. takes a little longer but it's still faster than reprinting.
I actually took a couple of classes on Photo shop but that was many many years ago. I didn't use it for the longest time and I forgot how to use it. It's not like riding a bike! Plus with all the version upgrades it's difficult to stay on top. I do try to learn when ever possible though...
Always use the centre of the laminator and make sure everything is loaded in square and straight. If the problem persists, it probably means the rollers are out of whack and need to be adjusted. You can do that yourself or call a tech.
Hmmm, just checked that and it's set to 0.02. Makes sense to me. What i don't understand is why I've never noticed this before. Mind you, I rarely use VW for scaling. what happens if I set that number to 0? What does this setting actually do other than confuse the sh!t outta me?
Thanks guys. I tried printing the file even though it shows the extra size and oddly enough, it prints to the correct size. Not sure what's happening, but it's working so I'm gonna go with it. There is a little more to this job than I previously stated and that's why I need to work in Illy to...
Tried the PDF. same thing.
File is to big to scale up in Illy.
I've also tried this in a completly different document using 2.5x2.5". When scaled up by 1000 in VW I get a final size of 25.27"x25.27". WTF????
I have a client supplied image that I need to break up into individual panels for mounting purposes. The image is scaled down - forgive my terrible math but I think it's scaled to 10%. Anyhoo, I've made my clipping mask 5.8"x4.95" and save as an eps. The final size of the tile needs to be...
How much material is on the take up? I find that when I put a new core on, I have to help it by hand for a little bit. It seems to work all on it's own once you get enough release liner on the core.
