About 5 years ago I was nearly driven out of business by "competitors" clicking my google ad. At that time we were looking at around a dollar a click. Before we killed our google Ads I'm thinking we lost almost 20K.
Google is laughing all the way to the bank.
You think this is bad? Give it ten years.
How did we ever manage without HD/4D contact lenses, Facefeed.com and the apple iBrain?
When you try to put toothpaste back in a tube all you get is more toothpaste.
To anyone thinking of Carbonite for large storage... don't.
I have about 400gig backed up there with another 200 pending. They say "unlimited storage" but thats just bull. As you upload more, they slow the speed right down.
The last 100 gigs has taken over 60 days. I'm creating new files...
Was you own business failing?
Having been on both sides I doubt I would enjoy having a boss again...and a 3 hour commute?
I can see the attraction of having a weekend again (sitting here in my robe on a sunday morning printing banners).
Good luck!
I love these promotions.
If a customer comes to me and wants a banner stand for $100 I tell them to go buy it elsewhere and only come back to me if they aren't satisfied.
I saw this banner stand in the store; it was laminated paper, curling almost double at the edges and even the store demo...
Whatever anyone else says, do the opposite...Stack real boxes in the back and drive the truck around with the doors open. Everyone will ask you how you got the cool 3D effect.
Hey, there is a local guy around here that sells 1000 cards (in FULL COLOR) for $48.
It must be true, I saw it on a bandit sign.
My only problem is local people think his cards are the same quality as mine...until they get the $48 cards.
$175 is a fair price especially with design.
just a side question, are you insured to go dangling 50 ft in the air, and is your installation covered by your insurance?
another good reason to sub installation out.
just watch the water drip off your windows.
I had to crank ours lower because of the condensation on cold windows and external walls.
At 50% we were heading for black mold. 40% seems good for us.
what does your test print pattern look like?
I'm doubting the static too on just one head, but check your humidity.
Did you do a visual check of the heads and the path they travel (no little bits of tape sticking up). Did you do a manual cleaning?
$5 bucks? Luxury!
I get customer logos designed in word.
"by my daughter/nephew/paperboy, they are going to be a graphic designer one day".
at least for $5 you get a .pdf?
