I haven't used much but I have been able to buy it from GSG by the yard. It is quite thick and is much more resistant to the few things that we tested. I don't remember it being all that expensive. I would definitely use it in an area prone to vandalism.

Having trouble gluing dibond to mdo/omega... using PL1 premium, liberally and then spreading with a notched trowel putting two panels together and then weighting them. Not getting great results. Am I missing something?

I think that it all has as much to do with sheen as it does texture, the higher the gloss the higher the adhesion. Gloss is like glass and flat is like a bunch of ridges like fine sandpaper. Go try to stick some to glass and then try to stick some to sandpaper, you get it.

Why not just run a big squeegee? I just laminated a 54" x 150' roll of material with one last week. It took me longer than a laminator would have but the prints came out wonderfully. That being said, my new laminator arrives tomorrow, literally. I still probably won't use it for any small...
