    Are you using a canned profile? If so, perhaps you can create a profile from scratch that prints at lower resolutions?

    Sounds like you either have the length percentage ramped up in your rip or your media comp is outta whack.

    I think the available resolutions and pass counts are determined by the profile. You should be able to create your own profile with the desired res, etc.

    I would check the cables going into the heads and make sure they are clean and seated properly. I've seen a faulty cable cause this. This can also be caused by a bad chip on the head or a bad head. Also, check the head for debris such as fiber from scrim banner, etc. And :Welcome: to :signs101:

    In what software are you designing the art? You should be able to import you art in to Flexi, select the layer you wish to be the cutline, and use Effects>Contour Cut. RIP and print as usual. The printer will print the appropriate crop marks, etc.
