  1. SignVOX videos - need input

Quoting, pricing, project management, overview of the UI (run through everything, don't go too into depth, let people see what the dashboards look like etc.).
  2. Photoshop CS5.1 not giving TIFF as a format option

PDF/X workflows are standard in pretty much every major shop and have been for quite a while. This is a complete derail but your comment is myopic. That said, Durst lists your rip as "Software/RIP: Durst Rho Linux software for very fast processing with minimum storage capacity on the hard...
  3. What do you need in designs??

The question is confusing, but we always need more honest critiques, case studies, techniques, best practices, finished portfolio examples...
  4. Donating Signs

Great idea and carry through, mad props.
  5. New business card layout...Thoughts?

A rule to live by. Nice changes insignia though I still don't like the orange AND. I also think the OP could find a better sans, something a bit less default.
  6. Photoshop CS5.1 not giving TIFF as a format option

    Get a new RIP
  7. How your IT guy could be spying on you at work

http://communications-media.lawyers.com/privacy-law/Photography-or-Video-Taping-Consent.html Not exactly. A release is good practice as it will expedite a trial but photos in public are a messy area of law and there's nothing specifically preventing a photo taken in public to be profited from...
  8. How about that TIM TEBOW?

I admit I haven't seen him play much (no Broncos coverage here, thankfully) but I was under the impression that a lot of his yardage has been after plays break down, not necessarily success in the read option. At least that's the only footage I ever see of him. His receivers are also trained...
  9. Amazing Photoshop artist

It's full of people he knows and tech luminaries, playing spot the face is fun. He often tours with the Kelby Training Live series of conferences though they're usually more photography driven. I've seen him a few times, always pick up a few tricks.
  10. Reality

Oldie but goodie. Spawned a term I use "don't be a pencil". If a co-worker or freelance buddy is complaining about something like this I just say "don't be a pencil" and they get the point, pardon the pun.
  11. Photoshop CS5.1 not giving TIFF as a format option

Save them out as two files, place on top of each other in indesign, output as a pdf.
  12. HP L25500 Pros and Cons?

That's the worst part on the machine. Ours doesn't tighten at all.
  13. New business card layout...Thoughts?

All the attention goes to AND as it's the orange (attention grabbing color), which doesn't make sense. Messes with the graphic importance hierarchy. Also agree that bubble text is out of perspective. Otherwise a nice card. Spot UV on the bubble is a good idea.
  14. How your IT guy could be spying on you at work

This is pretty basic, yes they have that right and they can distribute and profit from it. You have that right too. There's no right to privacy in public spaces. The OP's article is a joke anyone from any profession could be a creeper why single out IT guys. Poor nerds have been picked on...
  15. How about that TIM TEBOW?

<insert joke about bandwagon having grammar requirements>
  16. It's not a myth...

It is theirs, they developed it a couple years ago. There are youtube videos of their cars on the road and in fact we've already had this thread a few times. Don't really like the idea of full wrapping a car but it'd be a nice addition for doing rocker panels or whatever.
  17. L25500 pause during print

You can't, if it paused the vinyl would overheat. Takes a bit of getting used to coming from a Mimaki or whatever.
  18. HP 25500 white space WTF!?!"!

I'm with Colorado on this one. Flexi is awful.
  19. Working on my first vehicle wrap

If you end up in court they'd like rule it a derivative work and probably make you pay out any earnings you've accrued while using the logo. I'm not a lawyer so this isn't legal advice but...be careful.
