some customers don't pay for perfection. cheap is cheap to some and they really don't care if it's perfect or flawed, they just want to see their stuff on there. they have their place.

illustrator is optimized for illustrations and thus the name ... corel draw is optimized for design. 2 different things. now I've seen some awesome stuff in illustrator ... look at the wire frame ... i wouldn't even want to load that in anything but the native format of that version -shudder-...

sewn velcro tabs are good, also magnets if you can get those rare earth ones are good since they won't wear out like the soft side of velcro. pretty simple.

I haven't really ever had problems with any sort of glossy laminate being used for dry erase situations pretty much all of them let you erase without ghosting and cleaning ... you can use straight alchohol with most lams so there isn't a problem there .... if you can find a completely smooth...

Only thing I'm glad about is if adobe does go to a subscription basis ... you'll see more and more shops dropping everything except indesign and photoshop in favor for less expensive software.

Wow, that hits right to the core of what I feel about illustrator. +1 to that. Illustrator has always been that way too ... they took strides to bring all their other software in their catalog up to usefulness ... illustrator seems to be stuck in the 90 with their GUI interface.

Every company has it's ups and downs. There are a ton of respectable software out there that is free, cheap and expensive ... just to assume it's the same as ms paint ... baaddddddd mojo. I mean Inkscape (inkscape.org) is an open source program for vector graphics that has the potrace source...

I don't know ... I've never had a problem with them ... really I guess it comes down to luck. I will probably still buy from them for something I need and they have a great price on it, but I never rely on them.
