    What software did you create and then edit the file with? If the first file still prints correct, there is something either in the Edit you made or the settings when saving the new file that Flexi may have an issue with.

    The RS laminators are durable and reliable in my experiences. I do not care for the rear sheet cut mechanism. If you are in a hurry at all and push the blade down, you can cut your finger on the little finger mount edge (sorry... dont have the appropriate part name) Otherwise, easy to work...

    Where that file is buried is a bug unknown. The software manufacturer should help with this... you should be able to edit the file using NOTEPAD (text editor). Sorry but it sounds like you really need to lean on the manufacturer here...

    The SP540v uses 6 colors? Maybe an SC540/545/EX Converting from a previous inkset like CMYKLcLm to CMYKWW is not recommended and specifically warned against via Roland. I am sure it is 'possible' but you will need to weigh the risk of replacing parts/lines/pumps/etc.

    CiberSupply has this part in stock if needed... https://www.cibersupply.com/roland-filter-serge-mist-2-1000000415-en.html This is a change as needed part... the cleaner it is, the better your output. Watch for excessive ink build-up as well as fibers/lint that may accumulate on the sponge...
