I do not think there would be any way to charge folks after the fact......If the fire department arrived at a fire and the owner agreed to pay, he could later argue that the agreement was made under "duress" and it could be ruled invalid.....

I was a former insurance adjusted and attended many claims where the closest fire department sat and watched as the location was outside their jurisdiction.....So long as there was no firefighting agreement in place, the location was insured as "unprotected" and the claims were...

No piece of equipment you buy will ever do everything you want and/or need it to do....Best thing to do is buy what shop space, money, motivation, etc. allows you too.....And then promote the heck out of what you can do with it......Some shops have so much equipment and overhead, they price...
