  1. Wierd jpg actions

I usually output my Corel designs to low-res jpgs and post on my website for the customer to review. I copied a jpg the other day to my web server, but just got the dreaded "red X" when I tried to view it. So I checked all the web file and user permissions, etc. but still couldn' t see just...

The contamination comes when the sponge in the capping station touches the head, and creates a path for the inks to actually pull from one cart. into the other cart.), most of the time only as far as the damper. A few powerful cleanings will do it, or using a syringe, as you suggested...
  3. Mutoh head replacement

Thanks, I ran the wash on all colors, installed new heads, dampers, pump, wiper, and capping station. I have a new set of inks coming on Tuesday to finish the job. You are right about the manual; it does have a few gaps but I believe I figured them out and hope everything went well. I'll know...
  4. Mutoh head replacement

I'm getting ready to replace all the ink parts in my Mutoh Jr (heads, dampers, capping station, pump, wiper). The service manual says to run a head cleaning first, then after replacement and setting the head rank, run a fill. So is the head clean just a standard head cleaning, and not a wash...
  5. Equipment Complaint

I've used the 2-part self-weeding papers from Coastal Business, and they work great on light color shirts. It does take some practice getting the temp and timing down, but I've done hundreds of shirts and caps for events. The paper is called ImageClip.
  6. outdoor jr lockup

Try booting into self-diagnosis mode first, then turning off and back on. Press and hold the [Head Cleaning] key, [Menu Display] key, and [Shift] key simultaneously. While holding down these keys, press the [POWER] key. The system will enter the self-diagnosis mode and display the...
  7. New head installation (need assistance)

If you look at the capping station, you'll see a rubber gasket that goes aroound the outside of the sponge, and sits higher than the sponge. This is what seals against the head to keep the inks from drying out, and to help the pump create a vacuum to pull the ink. If the rubber seal is not...

Run a cleaning cycle and make sure the ink is flowing through all the heads and out into the waste container. If the pumps or lines are clogged, the ink will back up in the capping station.
  11. JV3-75SP II printer leak all the ink out overnight HELP!! :)

My Mutoh did the same on the Cyan cartridge. If the capping station is over-wet when the head parks, a vaccuum can be created, drawing all the ink out of the cart and into the waste bottle. In my case, I added cleaner to the capping station, as I usually do, just before a cleaning. But I...
  12. X feed adjustment

Thanks for all the input, everyone. I was hoping to make the adjustment on the printer itself, but Bob's suggestion was right on. The only issue, if you try it, it don't use the "test print" to proof after making the adjustment. I kept getting a 12x11.875 square using the "test print" no...
  13. X feed adjustment

I just noticed that my Mutoh Jr. is feeding short 1/8" per foot. I get the full image, just within a smaller area. I noticed this when I started printing the grommet locations on a banner that needed a grommet every 12". For some reason, I measured the distance before grommeting, and noticed...

  15. Seperating colors for vinyl print

I create a separate layer for each color. I then turn on the layer I want to print, one by one. This keeps all the data visible and editable, and all in one file.
  16. CorelDraw & Photo-Paint Questions.

I've been through two sets of Lava inks with no problems, other than the "aroma" is slightly more than the OEM ink.
