I've used the 2-part self-weeding papers from Coastal Business, and they work great on light color shirts. It does take some practice getting the temp and timing down, but I've done hundreds of shirts and caps for events. The paper is called ImageClip.

Run a cleaning cycle and make sure the ink is flowing through all the heads and out into the waste container. If the pumps or lines are clogged, the ink will back up in the capping station.

I create a separate layer for each color. I then turn on the layer I want to print, one by one. This keeps all the data visible and editable, and all in one file.
