Flush'em with cleaning solvent. If the printer has been sit for months, it will be best to replace the tubing... My 2¢

I never had good experience with non OEM parts. I purchased some aftermarket heads for my FOjr. And it was just wasted time and money, not to mention potential performance and reliability issues. When it comes to Print heads, Pay the extra $ and get you a genuine head. My 2¢

With the damper removed attach the syringe to the print head and gently push cleaning solvent you should feel no resistance and the solvent should jet out of the bottom of the head, do this a several time and see if that helps, before you get the new head.

You can try soaking the head and run cleanings. Looks like it is time for a new head.

Probably your black head is out of adjusment. If you could post a picture of the nozzle check I should be able to tell you.

Nope, only the VJ-1614 is equipped with such valves ( Dampers ).

Replace the mother board or time to upgrade to a newer printer.

That's typically a communication error or a motherboard issue. Unplug the data and power cord and let it sir for 30 minutes. Turn the printer back on without the data cable, if it gives you the same error, then open the control box and reseat all cable connections and memory stick on the main...

wow... Not sure where you called but, a power supply for a FO Printer should not be more than $700 The mother board runs around $1,200 bucks !

Loosen the screw that holds the black head, reseat the head make sure it is parallel to the color head, then do the electronic adjustment. :thumb:

You're missing a piece of foam, not sure what is its purpose. Mine is missing too, nothing to worry about it
