We also have a lot of "scrap" rolls with <6ft, sometimes I use it to do test prints on but that's not really ideal. For Halloween I printed a bunch of eyeballs on some leftover lam for my costume and...
Yeah I think you should go over and say you're creeped out, but in a polite neighborly way. If a neighbor came to me with that concern I'd be embarrassed and def change what I was doing. Nobody wants to be the neighborhood creep right?
we use Onyx but to get white to print (which was a nightmare to figure out) we have to name the white color Spot1 for it to be read. Should appear in the preview as a magenta-ish color but prints white.
What are you printing on?
I have run into that issue and realized that I had the wrong media size selected. It was reading it as 60" material instead of 54" so when it was centered it came out very close to the edge of the material.
Hi!
I was wondering if you are able to print tiles separately in PosterShop. We have been using the free version but it became clear that we need to upgrade as soon as a wrap job came in.
I just want to know if it's possible to tile a half size photo, send one tile at a time to print and change...
I just did an install like this and I should've double checked my squeegee quality. Make sure the felt is new/doesn't have anything caught in it, scratches can be very noticeable
Also, leave yourself tape tabs on all sides. Finger prints can also ruin an otherwise perfect application of...
We have "cubbies" that we store the scrap vinyl in. It's easy to access it and we label the rolls with the type and length it is.
We only save scraps that are >3ft long
Yeah I get vinyl "paper" cuts worse than any of the pricks I get from the blades! Always in that area between my thumb and pointer finger
Lmao, I think another factor is that I'm a chick and outside of work I dress nice so the cut up hands probably don't match my look xD
I have a pick too but I always go for the xacto, it seems better to me, but I guess if I'm posting on a forum about injuring myself I should probably train myself to use the pick instead haha. Thanks!
I use both but its ALWAYS with the xacto that I end up hurting myself o_O I use it for weeding and trimming contours. Olfa for just general cutting purposes. I never use either for backing paper, I learned that (expensive) lesson the hard way.
My hands are always covered in minor cuts and scrapes from materials and, I guess, a lack of coordination with the xacto  I don't really care but outside of work I get a lot of comments that I should wear gloves. I can't imagine working with vinyl with gloves on, I'm frustrated just...
We recently started using a s80600 and I know very little about the specifics of color handling but maybe this input is helpful. I get the exact color every time if I apply a Pantone color rather than a CMYK/RGB color. However I recently have been struggling to get a rich burgundy. I do get some...
