Do a really good cleaning and inspect under an around printheads.
Typically this is caused by something minimally hanging under carriage and looks like its dropping down when carriage changes direction.

Switch to printer using Piezo heads.
The HP Geniuses insist on using Thermal printheads so you have to buy another product from them regularly.

Purge black with their flush.
Any jets out will cause this if they're in a group especially.
As Wyld Bill stated- it may be air in the lines.
After flushing, purge over and over until you have no bubbles coming out.
This is also necessary after changing filters or any other way you've gotten air...
